Responsibilities Prior to Load in:
1.
Meet with Advanced Lighting TA to become familiar with light board
operation and patch panel
2. If
needed, set up additional practice time with the TA
Responsibilities
during Tech Rehearsal:
1. Facilitate
repatches during level setting session to be determined by LD
and SM
2. Supervise
dimmer check before each run-through
3. Work
with Board Operator on maintaining show during tech week
4. Touch
up focus, add or move units, change gel, or other electrics
department
work as determined by HE and LD.
Responsibilities
during Run of Show:
1. Do
any on deck electrical work during each performance (placement of
rolling
stands, operation of fog, etc.)
2. Supervise
dimmer check before each performance (except on two show
days)
3. Facilitate
repatches at patch panel if necessary
4. Work
with Board Operator on daily show maintenance: Replacement of
burnt lamps
and color, refocusing of units that have dropped, etc.
5. Report
to stage manager for show calls
6. Report
serious maintenance problems to HE or their assistant
Responsibilities
at Strike:
1. Participate
on general strike crew under supervision of HE.
